Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup from Entebbe – Drive to Kibale national park.
Meet our company guide after your early morning breakfast and drive to Kibale National Park the home of the largest population of chimpanzees in East Africa for yet another great experience. Enjoy the great views of Uganda’s country side and arrive at your accommodation in the evening for early rest to start off with trekking chimpanzees in the morning. Dinner and overnight at: Chimpanzee View Guest house for budget and Midrange, Kibale forest camp for midrange Turacco treetops for luxury, Kyaninga lodge for super luxury

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – visit Bigodi Swamp
Set off early after a quick breakfast, set off with a packed snuck from the lodge and head to Kanyanchu park headquarters in Kibale forest national park where you be briefed about the chimpanzee tracking activity, will be allocated a guide and then start off with your adventure. Kibale forest has the highest concentration of chimpanzees in east Africa hence referred to as the chimpanzee capital. The foret offers tourists a guarantee to see chimpanzees and a number pf other monkey species. In the afternoon after luch at your hotel, you will headout to visit Bigodi wetlands which has a good concentration of birds and visit the Bigodi community for community tourism.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Afternoon launch cruise
– Evening game-drive
Set of at leisure today after breakfast and be ready for transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park on a 2 hours drive. On arrival, you will drive to check into your accommodation to get fresh, have lunch and transfer to the Kasenyi point for a 3 hour sunset launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will view numerous wildlife and birds. Later have dinner and overnight at:

Day 4: Morning game-drive via Kasenyi – Proceed to Drive via ishasha sector searching for tree climbing lions – Transfer to Bwindi national park
You will wake-up at leisure today for breakfast and be ready to checkout of your accommodation. Head-out for a game drive to try and find more wildlife in the park. Proceed to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth with an arrival game-drive, have lunch and have another evening game drive to search for tree climbing lions in fig trees. Proceed to Bwindi national park.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking – Visit Batwa Pygmies tribes
After a delicious breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters ready for trekking, the day begins with briefing at 7:00am and the actual tracking begins at 8:00am.with UWA staff. The tracking may take you 2 to 6 hours but so rewarding with a face to face encounter with the silverback. You will spend a full hour with the Gorillas as you take pictures for memories of your trip, you will later return to the park headquarters and go for a community walk to interact with the local people to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Forest live their lives. Day 6: Bwindi to Kigali / Entebbe – Fly to Nairobi
Transfer to Kampala after breakfast with lunch en route at Igongo cultural Centrein Mbarara town and to explore the life style of the Ankole and Bahima. You will proceed to Kampala and have a stopover at the Equator for a photo moment and continue to Kampala and Entebbe for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be picked by our safari guide and transfer you to Royal Orchid Azure Nairobi /similar for dinner and overnight there.

Day 7: Transfer from Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will enjoy a short photographic stop overs on your way and proceed to Lake Nakuru past Naivasha, Gilgil and Elmenteita areas arriving in lunch time. You will enjoy game drives in the park in the afternoon and along the shores of the Alkaline Lake. Look out for endangered white Rhinos and Rothschild’s Giraffes, popular pink necked lesser Flamingos may be spotted here seasonally.
Other wildlife found here include lions, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, elands, water bucks, zebras and several birdspecies. Overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge /similar.

Day 8: Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara National Reserve

After early breakfast depart for famous Masai Mara National Reserve arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Begin your game drive in the afternoon in the search for the big 5 and several other game and bird species that whole afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 9: Full day in Masai Mara National park exploring wildlife

You will have a full day with morning and afternoon game drives within the Masai Mara reserve. This is the time when most animals are more active before it’s too hot.
You may choose to carry your lunch after breakfast for a full day full day drive in the park and lunch enjoyed on the banks of the Mara River, returning to your lodge in the evening hours. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 10: Masai Mara / Nairobi / Departure (Approx. 6 hrs drive)
Have breakfast at your lodge and check out, and enjoy en route game drive as you exit the reserve on your drive back to Nairobi. Lunch will be served and proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your evening flight.
