Day 1: Nairobi
On the first morning of your 9 Day Kenya Adventurer Tour you will fly-in to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. You will then be driven to the hotel where you will be spending the night. Depending on when your flight arrives, there might be time to head out and enjoy some of the sights of Nairobi. (All Meals for Own Account)

Day 2: Samburu, Shaba & Buffalo Springs National Reserve
Your safari holiday in Kenya starts with a pre-departure meeting, before travelling north to the sister reserves of Samburu, Shaba and Buffalo Springs, stopping en route at rural markets, the equator, possibly a small village and the post office to send off some cards. You will arrive in Samburu in time for a late afternoon game drive. In the evening return to your Kenya safari accommodation and enjoy a leisurely meal around the campfire. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 3: Samburu, Shaba & Buffalo Springs National Reserve
Wake early before the bright sun warms the African landscape and embark on a morning game drive. Today you can experience a tribal encounter with the Samburu during a local village visit. These people are also known as the “Butterfly People” due to their beautiful face painting and jewellery. The late afternoon finds us out and about on a game drive visiting the neighbouring reserves of Shaba and Buffalo Springs. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 4: Mount Kenya
In the morning you’ll travel south west and pass through the fertile Kenyan highlands stopping for lunch en-route. On arrival at your Kenya bushcamp near Mount Kenya, you have the afternoon at leisure to relax or explore the area on a self guided nature walk through the scenically beautiful forests at the base of the Mountain. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 5: Lake Nakuru
Continue your journey to the soda lake of Nakuru, home to a striking combination of Pink flamingos and Black Rhinos. En-route the journey will stop off at various Great Rift Valley viewpoints. After setting up camp in Nakuru enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 6: Lake Naivasha
From soda lakes to freshwater lakes, your safari holiday in Kenya heads to Lake Naivasha. There is time for an optional stop at Hells Gate National Park, before enjoying High Tea at in grand colonial tradition at Joy Adamson’s Elsamere before heading out on a game viewing boat trip on the lake. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 7: Masai Mara
Today you will head south-west to your next destination, the Masai Mara – arguably one of the finest game reserves in Africa. This is one of the iconic regions of Africa that people around the World are familiar. Although there is abundant wildlife year round, it is during the months of the Great Wildebeest migration from July to October that the reserve is home to over 2 million animals. Spend the night in an elegant Kenya bushcamp. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 8: Masai Mara
Spend a full day exploring the park on morning and afternoon game drives, with a visit to a traditional Maasai Manyatta during the day to meet some of Africa’s legendry warriors. In the evening return to your Kenya safari accommodation and enjoy sundowners around the fire. Dine on tasty safari inspired meals out under the star studded sky. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 9: Nairobi
We welcome the day on an early morning game drive in the Mara, before we return to the capital of Nairobi. On arrival in the city and depending on your further travel arrangements you will be either taken to a city hotel or to the International Airport. (Breakfast Included)
